As a professional carer, you will support your client in many ways. Carer jobs involve a wide range of tasks, including supporting day-to-day living, social support, administrative tasks like paying bills and shopping to assisting with personal needs such as washing, dressing and maintaining personal hygiene. Some clients may be living with dementia or other health conditions that require a range of clinical interventions and procedures. In order to join our dedicated care team, we ask that applicants be referenced in care within the last five years. However, if you are new to care, some branches do offer training leading to care certificates, so please contact our recruitment team to learn more.

Are there any opportunities to develop?

If you have career goals and ambitions, we will do our best to help you achieve them. We always try to promote from within, and many of our carers have gone on to other roles within our organisation, such as coordinators or branch managers.

What is the training like?

Our in-depth online training programme will give you all the right tools you need to start a successful care career with Prestige Nursing & Care. Our comprehensive induction training covers subjects such as common health conditions, first aid, medication administration, personal care, people moving and handling and more.
