Care at home in Redhill and East Surrey to make life better

My background is predominantly commercial and strategic, and I’ve spent most of my career in senior marketing and growth roles in large organisations but over the last year I made a very deliberate decision to move into care ownership.

That decision was driven by two things. First, personal experience with organising home care for my own family, which showed me just how transformational good care can be. And second, a belief that care businesses thrive when quality, culture and commercial discipline properly align.

Before acquiring Redhill, I spent time working as a care assistant. That experience grounded my thinking and reinforced how important it is to truly value great carers, and how directly that links to outcomes for clients.

My focus in Redhill is a people-first operation with strong foundations, where carers feel supported and clients experience consistent, reliable care. I’m excited to be part of the network and I’m very committed to building something we can be proud of long-term.

I have worked in health and social care for more than 12 years, supporting people to live fulfilling, independent lives. Care has always been far more than a profession for me. It is a vocation built on compassion, dignity, respect and a genuine desire to make a positive difference every day.

My journey into care began through supporting children with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), an experience that shaped my belief in person-centred care and the importance of seeing the individual beyond their needs. Since then, I have held a variety of care leadership roles and have remained passionate about delivering high-quality support that helps people thrive.

I hold a degree in Psychology, a Master’s in Psychodynamics of Human Development from the University of London, and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Social Care. These qualifications support my understanding of people, wellbeing and compassionate leadership.

My focus is creating an environment where both clients and care professionals feel valued, supported and empowered. I believe exceptional care starts with exceptional people, and I am passionate about developing confident, resilient teams that deliver outstanding care every day.

My role involves coordinating care services, supporting carers, liaising with clients and families, and ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered safely and effectively. I have experience within the care sector since 2021 and enjoy working closely with clients, families, and care professionals to help achieve positive outcomes. What I enjoy most about my role is building strong relationships, supporting our care teams, and knowing that our work makes a real difference to people’s lives.

When supporting clients, families, and carers, I believe that communication, respect, reliability, and compassion are key. I aim to ensure everyone feels listened to, valued, and supported.

I am approachable, organised, and always happy to help. I am passionate about delivering excellent care and take pride in working with colleagues to provide the best possible support for the people we care for.

I had a son who had Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and the Prestige carers saved me in the last year of his life. I was struggling with every aspect of caring for a loved one, and then these wonderful carers came in and they were so amazing.

Sadly, my son passed away, and I was later asked if I wanted to join Prestige as a career, so I did. I love the feeling of making a difference in someone’s day to day life, no matter how small.

I then joined the office team almost two years ago now and I love my job. Especially when we get to meet new clients and make an impact in their day-to-day life. I think I have a bit of a unique ability to understand what it feels like to let people into your home and accept the help we are able to offer. For a number of our clients, we were their first experience of care, and this can be extremely difficult as so many of us have been very independent throughout our lives.

I take pride in performing my job to the best of my ability at all times and love what we do. When you have that feeling it never really feels like work.
