What our clients are looking for

We are currently looking for care assistants to visit our clients and assist them with medication, meal support, personal care, and socialising. In addition, this individual would have the opportunity to develop skills in areas of low-level clinical skills with further scope to train within more complex care.

Experience working within care is an advantage, but not necessary for the right candidate. You would be supporting individuals to live independently within their own homes, on a part time basis, and would have consistent individuals with whom you would build a rapport with.

Do you need experience?

As much as this is preferred, we do offer an excellent care certificate training programme for anyone who is new to care.

What we offer:

  • A variety of shifts to suit your lifestyle.
  • You will be paid the National Minimum Wage for all attended training sessions and shadow shifts.
  • Work with our own clients, no agency work.
  • Pension scheme
  • Blue light card
  • Free DBS check
  • Enhanced Maternity/Paternity and Adoption schemes
  • Continued professional development to support you & your career
  • Weekly Pay
  • Holiday Pay
  • Refer a friend with the Care Friends mobile app and earn extra money – T&C’s apply
  • Employee Assistance line – available 24/7 and fully confidential for our staff
  • Support from your local branch team and out of hours support.

We’re looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • A driver’s licence is essential
  • Good professional and personal references

In line with CQC & Care Inspectorate regulations, we require and will undertake Enhanced DBS/PVG, Right to Work, Reference and Employment History checks in line with Government guidelines for this role and safer recruitment best practice.

You may be asked to provide your employment details through HMRC.

Whilst we endeavour to keep the recruitment process as short as possible, due to the nature of these important checks there may be extension to timelines. All our clients are equally entitled to have their needs met in a safe, fair and balanced way. Prestige Nursing & Care colleagues are responsible for promoting Equal Opportunities for all and for challenging any behaviour or practice which discriminates against any client or colleague on the grounds of race, religion, disability, age, gender, sexual orientation, identity or any other perceived difference.

As a Company we are unable to provide Sponsorship for overseas candidates. Applicants must have proof of right to work in the UK. It is a requirement to provide an overseas police check dated within the last 3 months of being in the UK if you have lived outside of the UK for longer than a year in the last 5 years.

By submitting your details, you acknowledge that Prestige Nursing is collecting, processing, and using your personal data for managing your application. For more information, please visit our Candidate Privacy Notice on our website.
