HOW CAN CARE BE PROVIDED?
Our trusted and established care home care service can be provided in the following ways:
- Hourly care – Hourly care or visiting care is for young people who need extra support throughout the day or week. A carer can pop in during the week to provide occasional support such as accompanying a young adult to an event or help them prepare as they transition to college. For more substantial support needs, hourly care visits can be arranged daily for support with personal care, mobility or light housework. For young adults needing round-the-clock- support, hourly care can be provided over a 24-hour period.
- Respite care – This is a short-term care arrangement that allows a family carer to take a break whilst a professional carer looks after their loved ones. Respite care can also be used to cover the absence of a usual carer. If a young adult is considering a more permanent care solution, respite care allows them to test out a long term care arrangement like live-in care before committing.
